Charles Haddad, MD, FACOG
Dr. Charles Haddad is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a long-time resident of northern New Jersey, where he has been a leader in the women’s healthcare and surgical community.
Born and raised in Syria, Dr. Haddad received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of Damascus University and completed his residency at Saint Joseph's Hospital. He has since acquired a broad familiarity of the New Jersey medical community by serving in a variety of OB/GYN positions, including as a faculty member attending at Somerset Medical and Hackensack University Medical Center at Mountainside Hospital, an assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai, and department chairman at St. Mary’s General Hospital. He also served as chief resident in the OB/GYN department at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Haddad is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) and a member of the American Medical Association, National Arab American Medical Association, and Syrian American Medical Society.
Dr. Haddad has been in private practice since 2001. He currently maintains hospital affiliations at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, New Jersey, Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley in Westwood, NJ, and St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ.
Nyota Peace, MD, FACOG
Dr. Nyota Peace is a trusted and reliable OB/GYN serving the community of Clifton, New Jersey. Dr. Peace earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Born and raised in Jersey City, Dr. Peace is familiar with the wants and needs of patients in northern New Jersey. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. After practicing in North Carolina for several years, she returned to her home state to continue the high level of care that her patients deserve.
Dr. Peace is well-versed in high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, gynecological surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery. She enjoys the ability to care for patients in all aspects of womanhood and a wide range of conditions from their first gynecological visit through menopause. Dr. Peace is also known for her bedside manner and kind demeanor.

Anish J. Shah, MD
Dr. Anish Shah was born in northern New Jersey and raised in Edison, NJ. He did his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and graduated at the top of his class with Summa Cum Laude and Highest Honors in research.
He was trained locally in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was chief resident in 2020. He has received awards for his research contributions to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds patents for his entrepreneurial work.
During his residency, Dr. Shah received the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Shah has particular interests in Robotic and Minimally-Invasive Surgery, High-Risk Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility Treatment.
Dr. Shah is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center Pascack Valley in Westwood, New Jersey and Hackensack University Medical Center Mountainside in Montclair, New Jersey, and Riverside Surgical Center in Rutherford, New Jersey.
Elina Berkovsky, PA-C
Elina Berkovsky is a licensed physician assistant board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She joined the Clifton OB/GYN team in February 2016.
Elina is a graduate of Touro College of Health and Science in New York City where she completed her master of science physician assistant degree. She is a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN PA who practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
She sees patients in the office and assists in gynecologic surgeries at the hospital. Elina is affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center Pascack Valley in Westwood, New Jersey and Hackensack University Medical Center Mountainside in Montclair, New Jersey, and Riverside Surgical Center in Rutherford, New Jersey.
Nada Hannawi, NP
Nada Hannawi, is a Board Certified Women’s Health and Doctor of Nursing Practice. She has achieved her BSN from Felician University and started working as a Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby nurse at various hospitals for 6 years.
She appreciates spending time with her patients. The ultimate goal for her is to advocate for women and provide her patients with the best care.
To reach her goal of helping patients achieve their ultimate health, Nada always focuses on women's physical and mental health as a whole.
She truly enjoys taking care of women in all stages of their lives, providing continuity of care. Her passion for the women's health area continues to grow each day as she continues to build on her knowledge and skills.
